Both projects had amazing community support. It was encouraging to see so many tamariki digging in to help on these restoration projects! Children are innate scientists and love learning about restoring wetlands and streams. Planting days provide school groups with countless opportunities for discovery, creativity, problem-solving and growing a deeper understanding of where we live.
